SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support position made for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it sassa hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
